Design a post-match feature that creates momentum from the first exchange to a date by helping users reduce planning friction and clarify intent.

Direct to Date explored how Hinge could better support momentum after matching by shifting part of the post-match experience from conversation toward action. While users often expressed interest implicitly, planning a date remained high-friction and emotionally loaded.
I co-led interaction design and product strategy for Direct to Date, partnering closely with engineering, research, and data science to create a brand new way to date on Hinge for our "speedy daters".
